Camillus, NY -- Honeywell plans to install two wind turbines and two solar arrays in the town of Camillus as part of the Onondaga Lake cleanup project.
The 6-foot, 185-pound wind turbines and the solar panels are examples of Honeywell’s efforts to provide environmentally-friendly and sustainable solutions.
Each turbine could generate up to 1,500 kilowatt hours per year and may provide 15 to 20 percent of an average household’s annual electricity.
