IN retail vernacular, Black Friday is the day for jump-starting the Christmas shopping season but innovative retailers have smartly morphed the day into a timeless state of mind.
Some deal-lovin' shoppers still trekked to stores in the pre-dawn hours, but chances are they were met by still heartier souls out since midnight as a growing number of retailers kick off the holiday shopping season earlier and earlier.
